ISS to join the 5th China International Import Expo with workplace solutions

ISS, which is taking part in the China International Import Expo (CIIE) for the second consecutive year since 2021, will feature various innovative products and solutions around workplace experiences under the theme, ‘Touchpoints@ISS – creating better workplaces’ and share its initiatives in sustainable facility management strategies.

ISS, which is taking part in the China International Import Expo (CIIE) for the second consecutive year since 2021, will feature various innovative products and solutions around workplace experiences under the theme, ‘Touchpoints@ISS – creating better workplaces’ and share its initiatives in sustainable facility management strategies.

Initiated by the Chinese government, CIIE, held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10,  is the biggest international trade fair devoted to promoting imports into China. CIIE facilitates countries and regions all over the world to strengthen trade cooperation and promote world economic growth. The total area for enterprise exhibition at CIIE 2022 will be around 360,000 square meters, covering six sectors: agriculture, automobile, equipment, consumer goods, healthcare and services.

Same as last year, ISS joins together with more than 20 companies exhibiting in the Danish Pavilion, which is organised by the Confederation of Danish Industry in co-operation with the Danish Consulate General in Shanghai and with Food Nation as the branding partner for the pavilion. The pavilion at CIIE will be focusing on a number of sectors related to the food industry with an increasing focus on sustainability.

Workplace experience touchpoints in a typical workday

1.Starting the daywith a safe and clean workplace

As a global leading cleaning service provider with a history of 120+ years, ISS applies the latest innovative technology while adopting environment-friendly and efficient robots on client sites around the world. Recently, ISS, together with tech companies, university and consultancy firm, is bringing a new innovation project, FacilityCobot to life. At CIIE  2022, ISS is to reveal the latest intelligent cleaning robots and automated cleaning solutions to showcase the efficiency and convenience brought by scientific and technological innovation.

2. A cup of coffee to keep productive all day long

As one of the world's largest workplace experience management service provider, ISS has more than 40,500 customers in more than 30 countries around the world, providing more than 1 million meals every day, in a commitment to creating every meal full of health and energy. Similar as last year, a "Copenhagen Coffee Bar" branded with ISS Unity Coffee will be operated in the Pavilion to provide a platform to engage on-site delegates. Unity Coffee is ISS group newly launched coffee brand. A premium community coffee shop/café solution for corporate head office environments (banks, professional services, pharma and industry & manufacturing), healthcare commercial and retail locations.

3. Healthy and nutritious diet to go well beyond

Providing delicious and nutritious meals while reducing food waste and carbon footprints, ISS food service is all about LOVE, LIVE, LEAD. This year, ISS will join hands with Green Monday, a Hong Kong-based plant-based food company, to introduce the benefits of a plant-based diet and run sampling and tasting activities during the period. Meanwhile, the company will bring a 24H Fresh Choice Cafeteria, the unmanned intelligent catering solutions jointly developed by Fresh Choice and ISS. This is an example of the transformation and upgrading of catering experience in the post epidemic era.

4. Rejuvenating mind with fun sports during breaks

It is known that a healthy and dynamic workplace environment can boost employees' creativity and potential while attracting and retaining talents. Thus, more and more enterprises make the health and well-being of employees a priority. With dedicated service design and touch points, ISS designs workplace solutions that are healthier and more enjoyable for employees. "Smoothie Bike Challenge" is one of the ways that ISS initiated at CIIE to help get people re-energized, to make the workplace work better for end-user.

5. Going home with inspiration after a successful workday

Sustainability as key agenda is getting momentum.Sustainability activities and practices make a positive difference to people, places and the planet. ISS is also committed to integrating sustainability not just into its business but also customer services. At this year's Expo, all activities that ISS has planned have sustainability elements embedded. Through multiple interactive activities on site, visitors will be invited to learn more about energy conservation and environmental protection, workplace safety, and daily nutrition in a workplace environment.
