As an international school with the mission of cultivating global citizens, Harrow Haikou has always integrated social responsibility education into campus life. This time, COBIS (Council of British International Schools) collaborated with its member schools to host a charity swimming relay. Over 100 students participated in this 1-hour timed event (if the students could complete a 14-kilometer swimming relay within 1 hour, they would raise the necessary funds for a heart surgery for a child currently awaiting the procedure). The students demonstrated tremendous enthusiasm, which is a vivid manifestation of the school's philosophy of "serving others."
💙 Donations Reach Their Destination, Compassion Finds an Echo
All sponsorship funds raised in this competition will be donated directly to the "Journey of Compassion" project of the Hainan Charity Federation, specifically designated to fund congenital heart disease surgeries for children in Hainan.
Congenital heart disease is one of the most common birth defects in newborns. For many families’ facing financial hardship, the cost of surgery can be an unbearable burden. The Ci Xin Charity Organization has long been dedicated to helping these families, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to have a healthy, beating heart.

About Ci Xin Charity Organization
Ci Xin Charity Organization focuses on the field of children's medical assistance. Through cooperation with domestic and international medical institutions, it provides surgical funding and postoperative rehabilitation support for children from underprivileged families suffering from congenital heart disease. To date, it has successfully helped hundreds of children gain a new lease on life with a healthy heart.
